Malacca 2012

I am so satisfied with my sem break 2012!

went to penang,singapore,malacca and johor..thought of going pangkor too but no time

never mind, leave it for the coming sembreak then

so, how's my malacca couple trip? awesome

there's a saying, it doesn't matter where you go, but it matters who's next to you while you're getting there

it's so true..you'll be happy no matter where you go as long your love one is at your side

3 of us sat ETS to kl to meet ding first

the love birds were so sweet when they met each other..aww~ 

i know how much they miss each other :)

so the next day,ding drove all of us up to malacca using the guide of GPS..

it's my first visit too! really katak dalam tempurung ><

since 3 of them visited malacca before, they don't really have the ohm to try all the foods there, so it's only me..keep craving for malacca food

they said still IPOH food the best..this is for sure la~

first, we tried the mille crepe at the famous nadeje, 

special but kind da expensive, rm10 per piece @@

for me, secret recipe is cheaper and nicer

the crepe is like layered of cream, separated by a very very thin layer of cake?

if you are a cream lover you will love it i guess

banana choco,mango,and original

we also tried the durian cendol at San Shu Gong branch nearby Dataran Pahlawan

the cendol is so rich with durian and gula malacca..so durianlicious! 

but it's a bit too sweet for our liking

so cooling sweet!

we continue with the must-eat-food at malacca-- chicken rice ball!

we dined at the HoeKee restaurant, Jonker street

they already told me to be prepared because the chicken rice will not be as nice as the ipoh's

ya they were right, the rice ball is cute to see, not so nice to eat :D

but no harm trying ma..its a symbol of malacca food so must try try one..

you can do this at home..roll your rice to a ball shape and TADAH, rice ball..LOLL

 

The next food is my favourite...Nyonya Laksa at Jonker 88 restaurant

so asam so laksa! spicy and sour enough o..

there's many type of laksa, got baba laksa,baba nyonya laksa etc..

we just tried the nyonya laksa since all of us was too full that time

it's normal to see queue everywhere at jonker

i miss it so much!

we were so full by then and decided to watch a movie first

after a movie, we had our dinner at Capitol Satay restaurant for the SATAY CELUP!

we queued for almost an hour for it! 

after i tried their satay celup, i feel it's worth to wait so long!

the satay sauce is so thick! the worker keep adding the ingredients and sauce while we're eating..and they provide us BIG PRAWNS for only 80 cents per peice..cheap la~

i really hope ipoh will have a branch like this..it's much nicer than the normal steamboat o

open at 5pm!

oh yeah, my uni doesn't provide hostel for me anymore..and..surprisingly

i feel quite happy! haha

We are nature lover---Exploring Manukan Island

As you all see..so far im enjoying my uni life

before the tonnes of assignments and lab works start

i'm trying to enjoy as much as i can..

i went for shopping, movies and even a one day trip to Pulau Manukan!

Sabah is a nice place i can say if you are a nature lover

i promise myself to explore the nature of sabah within my 4 years here

Pulau Manukan is the first island i visit in sabah

and thanks god..it doesn't disappoint me at all..it's such a beautiful island!

To get there it's easy..you just need to take the city bus to the Jesselton Point

From Jesselton, take a speed boat ride to the island..as easy as that

two ways just cost us rm13! that is the price we got after bargaining for some time

haha..girls huh~ 

the entrance fee to the island is rm3 per person..

the total island trip actually just cost us around rm20+..affordable right?

Finally we reached the heaven..see the blue blue sea..aww~

 owh, look at the sea water..=O as clear as the mineral water!

i didn't bluff you right..it's really crystal clear you know..=O

oh look at the cute fishes! this proof that the sea is quite clean!

 at first we thought of not going into the water but we just can't resist the cooling sea water! so..you jump i jump~

 actually kei was trying to take a picture of the unique resort but i bomb it..haha

here comes the food part again..haha..we love food..muah

 had a nice dinner at upperstar, suria sabah, see their deco..so unique!

this is a must-try grilled chicken which cost only rm13+, the meat is so juicy! the best i've ever taste so far..yum~

 Kei's fish and chips..the serving size is BIG! cost around rm13..yummy too

 dino's cabonara spaghetti, she said it's taste is just okay..too milky for her liking..just cost around rm8

It's a wonderful one day trip..had so much fun that day..my next destination will be Gaya Island, Memutik Island, Kundasang and etc etc etc..

i wish i have enough time for all this

yeah, i'm a nature lover ♥

Nice food waiting for me!

Another post telling how much i miss my home..

i love my home so much and the food..arghh...

im so hungry now and my menu for dinner will be cup noodles again..=X

Mom, you can start preparing for my "arrival" d,

go to pasar and buy all the nice ingredients ya and wait me home! 

muahh..

My mom's food is the best..so delicious!

Suffering from bad food

Before i start, let me countdown for the day i'm going back..

Its just 4 more days to go! wee~ so desperate to go back

Just a random post telling you some of my uni life..

Lets start with some bad things..my eating lifestlye

Day and night eating the same very-super-unhealthy food--Cafe Food + Maggie

Well, if compared to cafe food in my uni, Maggie consider as healthy food already

I know I know, I will get bald very soon..but..what to do?

My uni cafe got around 4 stalls, the one called BTC is the one I will never go for

After you eat sure kena diarrhea and you can easily find things like dead fly and even lizard's tail = =" (heard from people) 

but me myself saw the fly like around 2 times d..yuckssss~

The stall I always go for is the Jane's stall

Their fried rice is consider ok but still they will cause me diarrhea sometimes..haih~ 

And i cannot imagine how much oil they put in the food..

That's why, i keep telling myself and fei--I AM FAT!

I've no idea how am I going to live here for 4 years...

So, my best choice for food is still...Maggie. 

Maggie, this is not my favourite though, I prefer vegetarian super cup noodles

The oily fried rice--malindo fried rice

nasi campur, taufu+chicken that cost me rm4

The only nice part of our cafe--Tea Box!


Of course we will hunt for nice food when we're free!

Thanks god there's still a One Borneo shopping complex nearby

We always go there for shopping, makan and movies..



But all these food cannot be compared to my ipoh food lor..miss home so much! =(
